  <description>What We’re Playing this week
Marvel Midnight Sun (https://midnightsuns.2k.com/)
Metroid II: Return of Samus (https://metroid.fandom.com/wiki/Metroid_II:_Return_of_Samus) Easily one of my favorite franchises and I never beat this one in my younger years. That is getting solved this week!
A brief look at Nintendo V SEGA
NES V Master System
Some might say Master System had superior hardware to the NES
Master System was big in Europe, but NES dominated Japan &amp;amp; America
Fun fact: Processor (Z80) of the SMS is actually embedded in the Genesis, paving the way for the Power Base Convertor add-on
Games
Streets of Rage (oh the music is fantastic, composer Yuzo Koshiro)
SMS gems: Phantasy Star, Alex Kidd series , Choplifter, Fantasy Zone, Ys Vanishing
Genesis:
First gen classics: Revenge of Shinobi, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star II
Pushing the hardware envelope: Gunstar Heroes, Vectorman, SFII Special Champion Edition, Earthworm Jim, Aladdin
Great shmups: Thunderforce III, Gaiares, MUSHA
Sega CD classics: Sonic CD, Lunar Series, Silpheed, Dark Wizard, Shining Force CD
32X actually had a few decent games: Virtua Racing Deluxe, After Burner (perfect arcade port), Knuckles Chaotix, Star Wars Arcade
